Popcorn 10" x 8" oil **SOLD**
**SOLD**
(click here to bid) or to check other auctions.
Popcorn. This is number three in "reminds me of being a kid" series. When I was little, making popcorn didn't consist of throwing the bag in the microwave and waiting about 4 minutes for a nice hot bag. No it was more of an "event". It consisted of mom opening the plastic bag of popcorn, putting grease in the skillet and adding the kernels. If she didn't get the lid on in time lookout! Popcorn everywhere. We would then eat it in front of the tv or load up a big paper sack and off to the drive in movies we went. I don't ever remember what movies we watched because I was too busy playing on the swing under the big screen. After we got tired playing we would come back to the car, eat some popcorn and usually fall asleep. Enjoy!

Free Parking - Monopoly 7" x 5" oil **SOLD**
**SOLD**
(click here to bid) or to check other auctions.
This is number two in my "reminds me of being a kid" series. I remember playing monopoly when I was little. I don't think I really understood the game until I was a little older. I would just play with the money and the little game pieces. Enjoy!

Cherry Kool Aid 7" x 5" oil **SOLD**
**SOLD**
(click here to bid) or to check other auctions.
First of all I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. It's pretty festive around our house. Our boys are very excited and ready for the big day so they can open presents. Seeing their excitement reminds me of what is was like to be a kid again. I started thinking of things that I did when I was little. Like playing board games, eating popcorn while watching TV, or drinking a nice cold glass of kool aid after playing outside. So here's the first "reminds me of being a kid" painting. I'll be working on others through the holidays and the first part of next year.
Enjoy!

Playing Catch - Football 7" x 5" acrylic
(click here to bid) or to check other auctions.
Playing Catch. I was throwing a football around with my boys in the back yard. One of them threw a high one to me and looking up, this is what it looked like. I thought it would be a cool painting. I liked the way the football looked against the brilliant blue clouded sky.
Enjoy.

Trees with mossy rocks - 8" x 10"
(click here to bid) or to check other auctions.
We took a trip to a state park here in Tennessee named Fall Creek Falls. Here is one of the scenes from the trip. We were climbing down to the base of one of the waterfalls and when we stopped to take a break I looked up and saw this. I really liked the way the sun was being filtered through the leaves. Enjoy!

Blue Bird - 8" x 10"
(click here to bid) or to check other auctions.
This is the first painting I've got a chance to do since relocating to Tennessee. We put a bird feeder in the back yard. We hung it on an iron shepards hook. Right away we started seeing a variety of birds. We have several blue birds that visit quite often. Here is a painting of one of them. It's sitting on the shepards hook. You can see the wooden fence in the background.
Enjoy!

Glass Marbles - yellow, red, green - 7" x 5" acrylic
(click here to bid) or to check other auctions.
Well, we finally made it to Tennessee. We're pretty much settled in. Still have a lot of boxes to unpack but we're making good progress.
This is a painting I started before we left Indiana. I just now found time to get it posted.
In another week or so I should be back on track posting consistantly.
Thanks for being patient.
